You won't want to miss this upcoming event, hosted by The Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association in partnership with Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Catskill Cuisine will be a a festival celebrating the cuisine of the Catskills and beyond, featuring many of your favorite celebrity chefs. Enjoy learning more about the distinct regional cuisine, driven by local and sustainably sourced ingredients. Iconic Location
Catskill Cuisine will take place on May 13th, at one of the most iconic Catskill locations, the grounds of the 1969 Woodstock Festival at Bethel Woods. The museum, the Market Sheds, Festival Tents, Terrace Stage, and Concourse Walkway will all be filled with diverse and delicious entertainment. Plan to arrive when the festival begins so you don't miss anything.
Celebrity Chefs
On the Bethel Woods Pavilion Stage, guests can enjoy live, interactive cooking demonstrations from some of their favorite celebrity chefs, including:
- Alex Guarnaschelli, a world-renowned trained chef known for her appearances as a Food Network personality on shows like Chopped, The Kitchn, and Alex vs America.
- Marcus Samuelson, renowned chef behind many successful restaurants around the world, the youngest person to ever receive a three-star review from The New York Times, and the recipient of 8 James Beard Foundation awards.
- Geoffrey Zakarian, with an impeccable culinary reputations built on over 30 years of uncompromising attention to detail and a long list of industry rewards and accolades to his name.
- Alton Brown, household favorite and celebrity chef known for his attention to detail and iconic roles on food TV like Iron Chef America, Good Eats, and Cutthroat Kitchen.
- Scott Conant, respected chef and restauranteur behind L’Impero in Manhattan, which garnered a three-star review from The New York Times, the title of “Best New Restaurant” from the James Beard Foundation, and praise from top culinary publications.
